What It Means in Practice

PFWCA was founded on a simple conviction: no individual should be denied the opportunity for good health due to circumstance, access, or inequality.

What began as community-led outreach in Nigeria has grown into a dual-country initiative delivering health screening, medical outreach, and community programmes across both the UK and Nigeria.

In the UK, we identified a clear gap: many individuals, particularly within underserved and minority communities, are not accessing healthcare early enough.

PFWCA UK addresses this by bringing health services directly into the community, working alongside existing systems to support early detection and improved health outcomes.

Founder’s Story

With over 18 years of clinical experience as a Registered General Nurse, my life’s work has been defined by a simple, enduring truth: every person deserves to be seen, heard, and cared for with dignity. My journey has taken me through the full spectrum of care—from the high-intensity, life-and-death decisions of the Emergency Room to the intimate, long-term relationships of Community Nursing. Having served in fast-paced NHS wards and acute settings like Imperial College Healthcare, I have seen firsthand how early intervention and a compassionate hand can transform a life.

PFWCA UK was born from a deep, quiet conviction—a calling to take the clinical expertise I have gathered across both acute and community settings and pour it into the people who need it most. Whether we are conducting vital health screenings in a local hall or preparing for our future medical missions in Nigeria, my goal is never just to treat a condition, but to restore a sense of worth.

My faith is the heartbeat of this organisation. It is the steady light that guides me to reach across borders, from Buckinghamshire to my roots in Nigeria, to bridge the gaps in care for vulnerable women, children, and adolescents. PFWCA UK is the manifestation of a lifelong promise: to use my hands, my skills, and my heart to ensure that every life has the opportunity to thrive.
