Volunteer Code of Conduct
PFWCA UK is committed to operating with transparency, accountability, and the highest standards of safeguarding and governance. Our volunteers are the face of our organization, representing our mission to provide community health UK services both locally in Buckinghamshire and internationally in Edo State, Nigeria. To ensure the safety of our beneficiaries and the integrity of our programs, all volunteers must adhere to this Code of Conduct
To maintain our standard of excellence in community care, we require all team members to:
Act Professionally: Represent PFWCA UK with integrity. Whether you are at a local health screening or an international outreach event, maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude.
Respect All Individuals: We are an equal-opportunity organization. You must treat all beneficiaries, staff, and fellow volunteers with dignity, regardless of their background, ethnicity, or status.
Maintain Strict Confidentiality: You will often handle sensitive health data. You must never share a participant's personal or medical information with unauthorized individuals.
Follow Safeguarding Procedures: Protecting children and vulnerable adults is our top priority. You must follow all PFWCA safeguarding protocols and report any concerns to the designated officer immediately.
Work Within Your Role: Only perform tasks that have been assigned to you and fall within your specific area of expertise and training.
